JBI's Executive Director, Professor Zoe Jordan wins award
Executive Director of JBI, Professor Zoe Jordan, is the winner of the 2019 Public Sector & Academia category in the Telstra South Australian Business Women's Award.
The award recognises women who transform the status quo and dedicate themselves to making an impact in education/public service.

Professor Jordan was announced the winner in her category during a glitzy awards night at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Accompanying her at the awards night was Ms Bianca Pilla, Global Relations Manager at JBI, who had nominated Professor Jordan.
"Zoe's achievements during her career at JBI, particularly as Executive Director, are outstanding, and she deserves wider recognition for her inspirational leadership and work to promote evidence-based healthcare and improve health outcomes globally", Ms Pilla said.
On winning her award, Professor Jordan said: "The Telstra Business Women's Awards give us an opportunity to inspire others: our colleagues, our children, our partners, our parents, the public, and to show them that women who dare greatly can achieve great things".
Professor Jordan also acknowledged the "courage, moral grit and integrity" of JBI staff and members of the Joanna Briggs Collaboration, with whom she is "incredibly privileged to share this award".
Over 10,000 nominations for the Awards were made nationally. Professor Jordan will now travel to Sydney in May to represent South Australia on the national stage as a national finalist.
