1. Personal information

JBI will collect, store and use your personal information to register your attendance at the JBI colloquium to assist with administrative and planning purposes, to facilitate your special requirements for your attendance at the JBI colloquium and allow for compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the event, and to plan and develop future events. Any personal data collected about you when you register for the JBI Colloquium will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Photos and Recordings

Delegates at the JBI Colloquium may be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded during the event. These photos and recordings may be retained and incorporated into online material or used for JBI’s promotional purposes. If you do not want any photos or recordings of you to be used in this way, please email [email protected].

3. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in materials provided to you during or in connection with the JBI Colloquium (including but not limited to any notes, slides or articles) are the property of JBI and the PCO or the relevant presenters or exhibitors. Registering for and/or attending the JBI Colloquium does not grant you any rights in or to such materials.

4. Code of Conduct

All attendees should treat others as equals and with respect and dignity, regardless of ethnic or national origin, race, religion, citizenship, language, political or other opinion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age , and social or economic position.

This code is applicable in every space at the event venue as well as at any associated events (eg social events) which may not be in the same venue and in any event-related communication prior to or following the event.

5. Privacy

Any personal data collected about you when you register for the JBI Colloquium will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations of registration must be by email to [email protected] 

Refunds will apply as follows: 

• Cancellations received more than 30 days before the first day of the JBI Colloquium will result in a full refund, less any administration fee
• Cancellations received 14 -30 days the first day of the JBI Colloquium will result in a 50% refund, less an administration fee
• Cancellations received less than 14 days before the first day of the JBI Colloquium or non-attendance will result in no refund given.
• Refunds will be processed up to one month after the Colloquium.
