Welcome Nanshan Evidence Based Nursing Centre: A JBI Affiliated Group
JBI welcomes Professor Beirong Mo and team to the JBI Collaboration
As we move into a new decade full of unexpected uncertainty, one thing we can rely on is evidence-based healthcare. This is why at JBI we are always excited to welcome to the JBI Collaboration new Entities who join our mission to promote and support evidence-based healthcare globally.
Nanshan Evidence Based Nursing Centre: A JBI Affiliated Group is a newly developed group of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital. The Group’s Convenor, Beirong Mo, told us that they were motivated to join the JBI Collaboration to improve capacity to produce and implement evidence into practice:
“We see joining the JBI Collaboration as a means of accessing excellent and reliable resources as well gaining access to the experience and knowledge of an international collaboration.”
The four areas of focus for the Nanshan Evidence Based Nursing Centre are community healthcare, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pain Management and Rehabilitation Nursing. Research and evidence-based practice within these areas will allow the Centre to provide advanced, cost-effective and improved care. The Groups also plans to promote evidence-based healthcare by offering the JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program to their hospital and university staff, and their students.
Beirong Mo also shares that the Shenzen Government is investing in the development of knowledge and skills in the field of nursing, given that research and professional development is imperative to be able to effectively improve healthcare and practice. Therefore, the Nanshan Evidence Based Nursing Centre is moving forward “confident in having support at the highest level”, Beirong Mo says.
