JBI iGNITE launches
Sparking innovation in EBHC methodology
JBI, a global leader in evidence-based healthcare (EBHC) and EBHC methodology, is proud to launch JBI iGNITE, a two-day methodology symposium focused on evidence-based healthcare methodology for the future. The event will take place at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, Australia on November 16-17, 2023.
As the global evidence ecosystem continues to evolve at a rapid pace, the science of evidence-based healthcare has become increasingly sophisticated. The continued development and integration of advanced technologies such as AI and big data analytics have the potential to revolutionise EBHC methodology, together with the increasing emphasis on interdisciplinary and collaborative research approaches. JBI iGNITE is designed to challenge and stimulate our thinking about the future of EBHC methodology and methods.
JBI Executive Director, Prof Zoe Jordan, said: "JBI iGNITE is an opportunity to anticipate what the future might have in store for us and to ignite our passion for improving global health outcomes through the synthesis, transfer, and implementation of the best available evidence. During the symposium, we will engage with renowned international experts in the field of evidence-based healthcare methodology, participate in rapid fire methodology sessions, and share innovative research and ideas."
Speakers at JBI iGNITE include Senior Scientist and Innovator Dr David Moher; Prof Ruth Stewart, a pioneer in the field of evidence-informed development and evidence networks; Dr Noah Ivers, one of the most influential voices in healthcare research, implementation and use of data for EBHC; leading researcher in knowledge translation, Prof Maureen Dobbins; Prof Peter Bragg, who is at the forefront of cutting-edge review science; and Prof Tari Turner, who spearheads research to revolutionise the way evidence is used to inform practice and policy. In addition to plenary presentations with fireside chats, the program includes rapid fire methodology sessions, with internationally recognised methodologists.
"JBI iGNITE is a unique opportunity to hear from the leading voices in EBHC methodology and to network with like-minded professionals from around the world. We hope that the symposium will inspire participants to think creatively and innovatively about how we can continue to advance the science of evidence-based healthcare to improve health outcomes for all", said Prof Jordan.
