COVID-19 SPECIAL COLLECTION
Evidence-based resources for health professionals and health organisations.
The JBI COVID-19 Special Collection provides health professionals and health organisations with free access to premier evidence-based point of care resources to inform and guide healthcare decision making with a focus on infection prevention and control measures, and mental health and well- being.
The JBI COVID-19 Special Collection includes JBI Evidence Summaries that provide a summary of the best available evidence related to a clinical topic including best practice recommendations to help clinicians mobilise evidence into practice, and JBI Recommended Practices that provide standardised, detailed descriptions of best practice care procedures.
This Special Collection will be updated regularly, aligns with WHO guidance, and can be used in conjunction with local policy requirements as set out by government agencies
Note: The fundamental need for personal and organisational commitment to infection prevention and control is the core focus of this evidence collection.
Bringing together the rapidly growing body of research findings on COVID-19 is a critical step in harnessing the huge potential of health and medical research activity.
JBI Partner and Co-Director of the Queen's Collaboration for HealthCare Quality: A JBI Centre of Excellence Dr Andrea Tricco and her research team have produced three rapid reviews. Worldwide, laboratories, Universities, Government and non-Government agencies are testing and reporting data related to treatments as well as staff and patient safety.
The following resources are rapid reviews of topics funded by government and international public agencies. JBI academic staff have created evidence summaries for each topic as brief summaries of the core methods and findings.
