Please note: this register is for the use of JBI affiliated entities ONLY. Registration of a systematic review title on the JBI website is to promote collaboration between affiliated entities via highlighting current work to other JBI review authors and to recognise that the registered topic is currently in development to avoid any unintended and/or unnecessary duplication of research effort.

The review will consider articles that focus on healthcare professionals working in intensive care units including registered nurses, doctors and all allied health professionals including but not limited to pharmacists, dieticians, physiotherapists and social workers. Eligible studies will examine family involvement in clinician handovers including nursing handovers and medical ward rounds at any shift change-over period and all levels of family participation from presence only to active decision-making. 'Family is defined as any person considered by the patient (or surrogate decision-maker) to be their family and who has a supportive and ongoing significant relationship with the patient. Family may, or may not, be related biologically or legally and could be a close friend, next-of-kin or legally appointed representative. |

Adult (>18 y.o) patient with abdominopelvic CT exam. There’s no restriction on patient morphology (height and weight). We include both sexes. General indication for CT imaging can include for example oncologic cases, diverticulitis, abdominal pain etc. However, the following indications are not included: vascular cases and indication requiring more than one injection. Compare dose calculation based on lean body weight and total body weight for iodinated contrast media injected for abdominopelvic CT protocol. The effectiveness of calculation is evaluated with portal venous phase. |

Front-line health care workers fighting in the COVID-19 pandemic. Physicians, nurses, technicians and allied health staff were all included in this review, as long as they were directly involved in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Facing this critical pandemic, healthcare workers on the front line who are directly involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with COVID-19 are at risk of developing psychological distress and other mental health symptoms. There should be various risk factors which may make certain workers more susceptible to mental health problems. |

The review will consider qualitative studies that include the experiences of those aged >65 years who have been diagnosed with ESRD and need dialysis. Studies including the experiences of their family caregivers in managing ESRD in older patients, as well as their interpretation of the older patient’s experiences, will be considered. Papers included in this review will include participates of the study that are i) ESRD patients over 65 years, ⅱ) their family caregivers and ⅲ) both the patients and their family caregivers. The search period will be not specified. This review will consider studies that describe the experiences of ESRD older patients and their family caregivers. These include physical and/or psychosocial experiences, psychological reactions, financial burden, and disease complications. In addition, studies that investigate patient care and ability to manage disease, social activities, as well as met and unmet needs will be included. Their family caregivers’ interpretation of the patient’s experiences will also be considered. And the duration for the investigation is from initially facing the need for dialysis treatment to the terminal stage, regardless of their family caregiver’s age, sex and type of dialysis. |

This review will consider studies that include registered nurses (RN) who provide direct care to patients in any clinical setting. Only studies that include RNs, that is, nurses who hold an RN designation as a result of successful completion of a diploma or university nursing program, will be considered. Studies that examine only nurses in formal leadership or advanced practice roles such as managers, nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists will be excluded. If studies include mixed samples, they will only be considered if the results are explicit for RNs providing direct care. |
