ii. Which kinds of teaching-learning strategies are used to teach QSEN Patient Safety in an undergraduate nursing program?
iii. How do nurse educators assess the competency of undergraduate QSEN Patient Safety they taught?
This review will consider studies that include nurse educators teaching in undergraduate nursing programs. This includes, but is not limited to, nursing professors, nursing faculty, nurse educators and nursing lecturers.
The concept examined in this scoping review is the QSEN competency of Patient Safety. Criteria may include, but is not limited to, location of QSEN Patient Safety within the curriculum, teaching strategies for QSEN Patient Safety and how QSEN Patient Safety learning is assessed.
This review will consider studies conducted in the undergraduate nursing curriculum. This includes four-year baccalaureate programs, associate degree programs and registered nurse baccalaureate degree completion programs (RN-BS). This review will include international nursing programs.
